Summary of this tutorial:

For this tutorial we are recommending the WP-Optimize plugin found here:

With the plugin installed and activated you will want to go to the WP-optimize label to get to the settings for the plugin.

There is a full list of operations the plugin will perform on your database that you would want to take a look at and uncheck any that you don’t want run.

If an item is marked red they can be dangerous to run if the process is interrupted which is why we recommend creating a backup of your site:

With your items selected click on ‘Run on all selected items’ button for the plugin to run and clean up your database.

BUT, What is it cleaning up?? Data Base is a rather BROAD TERM. I am not sure I want to trust someone else to determine What "needs" to be removed.

Just tried this plugin on my most recent site and I liked it, I'll probably use it from now on. I wished you'd mention in the video the option to log events, though.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of this plugin, and I'm guessing it would be very beneficial for those blogs that have been around a while. I'll have to give it a shot.
